I haven’t attended TCEA in a couple of years, so I was REALLY EXCITED about getting to go last week. It did not disappoint! There were many wonderful presentations, and I went to as many as I could cram in during the day. The purpose of this blog post is to not only share the gems I learned, but to force you to create an account on hstry.org. This is without a doubt my new favorite tool of the year. It’s still in beta, so I’m holding off on my “official post” until they launch next month at SXSWedu. I created a timeline of events during the 3 day conference. Each class has it’s own section filled with my favorite take-aways and links to the presentation resources. You can access the timeline by clicking here. Just create an account and then start exploring by making timelines of your own. Check back next month for a more detailed post about how Hstry can be used to support classroom instruction.
