Using Wallwisher for Online Discussion and Collaboration

Author: lmoore4 | Filed under: iTouch/iPad

I’ve been using Wallwisher for some time now, but have yet to blog about it. Wallwisher is a Web 2.0 free online tool where anyone can build a “wall”.  Your students can then go onto the internet and stick post-it notes electronically onto your wall. The notes can include linked pictures, You Tube videos, PowerPoints, PDF documents, Excel Spreadsheets, or web page links.  There are several different ways to integrate this tool into your curriculum. My favorite is to open a wall on one of your student computers at the begining of the day and post a question. Students can post answers as part of their morning routine. Project your wall on your screen to begin a classroom discussion. See the example below and add your favorite blog website for other educators to add to their growing collection.
